Meizu MX4 available for international orders starting at $449, shipping and taxes included

Earlier this month, Meizu announced its newest flagship smartphone - the MX4 - without providing details on its international availability. Fortunately, we now know that Meizu allows customers almost everywhere in the world to pre-order the handset, which should start shipping later this month.
The Meizu MX4 16 GB costs $449, while the Meizu MX4 32 GB can be yours for $489 (both are offered unlocked). The 64 GB version of the handset can’t be ordered for now. According to Meizu, these prices include shipping and import taxes in “certain markets” in North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and New Zealand. That's why they're considerably higher than the smartphone's prices available in China.
The MX4 is 8.9mm-thin, and runs Flyme OS 4 (which is based on Android 4.4 KitKat). The handset sports a pretty large 5.36-inch display with an unusual 1152 x 1920 pixel resolution and a 418 ppi density. Other features include a 20.7 MP rear camera with Sony IMX220 Exmor RS sensor, 2 MP front-facing camera, octa-core MediaTek MT6595 processor, 2 GB of RAM, and a 3100 mAh battery.
Anyone interested in buying Meizu's latest flagship?

Looks stunning!! better than iPongs design, certainly more value for the money, more bang for your bucks!!. More features, and latest hardware. If you buy this, your're a winner already compared to the ipongs users.

Its only a phone. What else does it come with? Where is the eco system? What other services are available? LOL!!! Android loyalists are too wrapped up in what the phone does, rather than look at the entire picture on what's available with the phone.

"Looks stunning!!" Even from the back best talk about the phone now THIS AT THE MOMENT LOOKS BAD OK!!! Unless I missed it, the Meizu MX4 is the same Meizu MX4 you would purchase in China (I visited the site also and there is NO clarification) NOT AN INTERNATIONAL VERSION) AT WORST YOU COULD BE ONLY 2G HERE ARE THE MEIZU 4 BANDS 2G GSM: 850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz 3G UMTS: 850, 2100 MHz FDD LTE: 1800 (band 3), 2600 (band 7) MHz http://www.phonearena.com/phon
Samsung and Sony "pack" their phones so covering all bandwidths
3G or HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100 (+1700 T-Mobile USA)
4G LTE 800 / 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 / 2100 / 2600
The above S5 and xPeria Z2 which ideally Meizu should specifiy is in the MX4, (I visited the site also and there is NO clarification) NOT AN INTERNATIONAL VERSION) click on source in this article
The Meizu MX4 that will be ship from China is the same as bought in China and if you reside in a country that uses a different band at worst you could only be 2G

I doubt it if the 6595's real world performance is any better than the SD800.

You think that? You want to compare a Snapdragon 800 with a Cortex A17, which it's reviewed version of Arm Cortex A15? No way men! 4 cores Cortex A17 at 2.2GHz are as good as the 32 bit version of K1, exclunding de gpu, of course! Or even better than 32 bit Tegra K1. The A17 has some tweaks that A15 hasn't, so it's better, with better performance. Snapdragon 800 it's weak compared with this chipset, as in cpu power, as in graphic power. The PowerVR G6200MP4 it's powerful, it has twice the power performance of the IPhone 6, 6+ gpus, 230,4 GigaFlops.
