Is this the new S Pen for the Samsung Galaxy Note 5?

Is this the new S Pen for the Samsung Galaxy Note 5?
A couple of images reveal what is allegedly the next version of the Samsung S Pen that will be coming out of the box with the Samsung Galaxy Note 5. The pictures show that the pen will have a clickable top, which could mean that it will have a retractable point. Last month, we told you that Samsung had applied for a patent that covers an auto-eject feature for the instrument.

It might be too soon to expect such a feature on the Galaxy Note 5. Still, case makers have been told that the S Pen will rest so flush with the chassis of the phablet, that the pen cannot be easily removed with a fingernail. While an auto-eject feature would seem like the perfect way to have the S Pen released from the body of the phone, the retractable top could be part of a spring-loaded system that will be in place for the Galaxy Note 5.

A voice activated auto-eject technology for the S Pen sounds awesome, but for now it might only be concept renders that have such a system in place.

Voice activation eject should not be possible. What if, it auto ejects with you knowing. Many terrible possibilities.

They never said anything about voice activation..in fact there is no information about exactly how the new mechanism works..so just wait for the device to be released.

Is it like your job to keep on mentioning LG in every Samsung article?? Like seriously dude, knock it off. Oh and don't worry, the way LG keeps on "borrowing" features from Samsung, I can assure you that sooner or later they will "borrow" the S-Pen into one of their phones.

Loving certain brand is not wrong but given false review only showing that person is immature. Thanks for posting.

My favorite sentence of him in GS6 review was "lack replaceable battery life"

What will your combo be like by October? S6 Edge + iPhone 6s+, or Note 5 + iPhone 6s?

On the android side, the edge+ has my attention the most. I'm on the fence with the 6S+. I'll buy it if it's properly spec'd and has every ios 9 feature, especially the multitasking ones. You know I'm not a specs head, but no more under powered devices for me. Right now, it's my current 6+, and the edge+, which means selling my edge. For some reason, I think Apple won't put full multitasking on the 6S+ how about you?

I think i ll be sticking with the Edge after all. With all its cons, I still can't get bored with the design, and tomorrow I am gonna love it even more since i found a deal online to trade my Gold 32GB Edge plus cash for a brand new 64GB gorgeous Green. I recently got the 32GB Nexus 7 for a great deal, and I am using it a lot, which means that I don't need to go bigger with my phone, and I don't need to plug my phone twice a day into the charger.

I've tweaked my settings enough to where I'm getting about 15 hrs of overall usage now. Turned off a Lotta sensors in stuff after watching a battery tips video on youtube. Good luck with the green, but that gold one is so gorgeous. I'd take 64 over 32 any day though. No more non full multitasking devices bro, lesson learned. Smart move on the trade.

Well i am getting somewhere between 3:45 to 5 hrs of sot. The inconsistency is what bothers me a lot, but now it isn't an issue since I am using it alongside the Nexus 7. As for the iPhone 6s/6s+, I wouldn't worry that much about it. The only 2 parts that previous generations were falling behind the competition, were the ram and bigger camera sensor, and if the leaks were true with a new 2GB of ram and 12MP camera, those due will be close to perfection in my book(apart from the complicated iTunes). I don't wanna sound like a total jerk, but the best thing that happened to Apple was the death of Jobs.

You don't sound like a jerk, cause I know what you meant buy that, and I agree. I haven't actually did a SOT test, but it comes off the charger at 3:40am, and goes back on at around 5:30pm with about 6% left. Not great, but enough. 2 gigs of ram, and a 12meg rear/3meg front camera, tri core A9, full multitasking, and I'll buy it. Force touch and stronger aluminum would be a nice plus.

I read a recent article that stated the edge+ had cleared the FCC, so at least we know it's real. Now it's just the wait.

Glad to see you pulled your head out of apple's mind washing ass, would be great to see the other itrolls appreciating other products namingly android. If you enjoy your multitasking as much as me then I would stick to Samsung, other brands don't really have it right.. Like LG..

First of all I'm not an iTroll, and second my mind was never up Apples ass. Get lost with that whack talk, or talk to me with intelligence. And I'm still an Apple user.

Look at your history son, everyone knows you used to be apple little minion. Whack talk? I think you need to look into your comment history LOL. The only person you're trying to fool is yourself.

Note 5 doesn't seem to bring "killer" features over my Note 4.. I'd rather wait for Note 6 and this year the better choice should be S6 edge plus ..at least it has the "turn heads" ergonomics .
