Is this the new S Pen for the Samsung Galaxy Note 5?
A couple of images reveal what is allegedly the next version of the Samsung S Pen that will be coming out of the box with the Samsung Galaxy Note 5. The pictures show that the pen will have a clickable top, which could mean that it will have a retractable point. Last month, we told you that Samsung had applied for a patent that covers an auto-eject feature for the instrument.

It might be too soon to expect such a feature on the Galaxy Note 5. Still, case makers have been told that the S Pen will rest so flush with the chassis of the phablet, that the pen cannot be easily removed with a fingernail. While an auto-eject feature would seem like the perfect way to have the S Pen released from the body of the phone, the retractable top could be part of a spring-loaded system that will be in place for the Galaxy Note 5.

A voice activated auto-eject technology for the S Pen sounds awesome, but for now it might only be concept renders that have such a system in place.
