Apple iPhone 7 and 7 Plus price and release date on Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint and AT&T

Apple iPhone 7 and 7 Plus price and release date on Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint and AT&T

Apple's event today was heavy on iPhones, as could be expected, and the rumors that the iPhone 6 will enter its third design edition with only minor exterior changes got confirmed. We wouldn't call the disappearance of the headphone jack, or the clickable home key a minor change, but externally the iPhone 7 looks pretty close like the iPhone 6s or 6 before it, so the usual complete chassis overhaul cycle is being replaced with something that takes longer.

Besides the missing audio jack and the antenna bands moved to the sides, the new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus are coming with brand new cameras with larger pixels. and optical stabilization makes a cameo on the smaller iPhone. It only fits that Apple announced the new iPhone 7 on September 7, and, again as usual, it will unleash the preorders as soon as this Friday the 9th, while it will be launching the phones in its retail shops on Friday, September 16.

Germany and France are of the few countries where new iPhones launch concurrently with the US, so the September 16 release date will hold water on the other side of the pond, with Netherlands and the rest quickly following a week after, September 23. How much for Apple's new iPhones? We are glad you asked, but the starting tag is the same as any previous iPhone, here's the scoop:

Well, the simple fact that the standard is now 32GB is going to make a world of difference for people who've been restricted to 16GB in the past.

Standard's 32GB you say... That's kinda late to the party! And you see the iPhone 7 doesn't offer a 64GB option, right? So, if 32GB isn't enough (which is always the case), then you've got to jump straight to 128GB, even though 64GB could have been enough! Apple's marketing shenanigan.

But the pricing for the 128GB is the same as 64GB from a year ago. I don't care much for Apple. "then you've got to jump straight to 128GB, even though 64GB could have been enough!", it sounds to me like you're complaining that they're offering you too much storage... very odd indeed....

That's essentially what he's doing. He would complain about Apple giving you 256 at that price becuz...... Samsung! Gotta love their devotion :D.

WTF you talking about? Did I even mention Samsung here? Watch your mouth, flamewar starter.

@Scott, Those prices do not apply everywhere. The iPhone's price in the US is really modererate. I can guarantee you that in Asia, the price of the 128GB iPhone7 will be more than the 64GB iPhone 6s! Those who do not find the 32GB to be enough, but would want to stick with 64GB, they'll have no option this year other that to jump straight to 128GB, which means more cash.

#poorpeopleproblems If you're trying to pay for a phone in this price bracket, 9 times out of 10 a hundred dollars isn't gonna kill you.

It was a much bigger deal when everyone bought subsidized phones on contract. $300 vs. $200.

+1 for you sir from the hashtag alone

I'm going to be honest, you're kind of just looking for a *really* nitpicky reason to criticize Apple. Their pricing scheme is exactly the same as it was when there was 16, 64, and 128. So they upped their storage options and more or less kept the same price brackets, and then suddenly now people are bi%*hing about that. That's ridiculous dude.

Terry, my concern about the lack of 64GB is because of the iPhone7's different pricing worldwide, not just in the US. Do you think that the 128GB iPhone 7 will cost the same as the 64GB iPhone 6s in countries other than the US?

I think a better question to ask, is whether or not the price disparity between the three models will be kept the same across all markets. Not so much if there will be an equivalent exchange of cost from one market to another because that is never the case.

Well i guess it's a good thing we don't live in a country than the US

The move to 32 GB base storage is about 2 years overdue. And the fact that Apple was sticking to 16 GB gave some Android makes (I'm looking at you, Motorola and Google) incentive to follow their lead, albeit at a lower price point.

First of all most of those features were found in the older generation too and about the edged screen most ppl like the flat variant more the poll result in every tech site proves wat i say and finally with 4 GB of RAM note 7 couldnt stand against iphone 6s with its 2 GB of RAM even the 6 GB oneplus 3 couldnt stand also it's not about how much ram you have it's about actual performance i believe that even iphone 6 is going to be faster than note 7. By the way i am sending this from my note 4 here .

4GB RAM is necesary for Android. iOS isn't a heavyweight in multitasking like Android. Take into consideration that the iPhone 6s TLC NAND flash storage is equipped with a NVMe controller, which is faster the UFS 2 in the S7 and OnePlus3, that makes the iPhone load stuffs faster. The amount of RAM has nothing to do with App opening speed. How about compairing multitasking capabilities? LOL

Yea, how Apple can lag this far behind the competition baffles me. I mean they had a head start and to just drop the ball like that is ridiculous.
