If you're looking for the perfect budget 5G phone to buy ahead of the fast-approaching holiday season and somehow remain unimpressed by the bang for your buck delivered by the Motorola Edge (2025), Edge (2026), Moto G Stylus (2025), and Moto G Stylus (2026) at their killer new Prime Day discounts, you might want to consider one more Motorola handset.

Normally priced at $299.99, the Moto G Power (2025) is cheaper than all the above mid-range Android soldiers right now for Amazon Prime members only. That's because the 6.8-inch giant with MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processing power never got a permanent price hike after its early 2025 debut (like its 2026 sequel received around six months ago), and a hot new Prime Big Deal currently lets you save 110 bucks without (other) strings attached.

$110 off (37%)

Available in a gorgeous Leaf Green color, last year's Moto G Power looks like one of the biggest possible stars of this year's holiday shopping season at a killer $110 discount with no strings attached apart from an obligatory Amazon Prime membership.

As you can imagine, that makes the unlocked Moto G Power (2025) with 128GB internal storage space and 8GB RAM more affordable than ever before, and although we've seen Amazon offer $100 discounts a number of times in recent months, the slightly improved member-exclusive promotion is absolutely not to be missed.

That's going to become abundantly clear for many bargain hunters when you check out the Moto G Power (2026) and notice that its excessive $399.99 list price is unchanged by Amazon's second sitewide Prime Day event of the year.

Said 2026 edition, mind you, doesn't change much about its 2025 predecessor, merely bumping up the battery capacity from 5,000 to 5,200mAh and improving the front-facing camera while oddly packing the same aforementioned Dimensity 6300 SoC, as well as 8GB RAM and 128 gigs of local digital hoarding room.

Clearly, you have no solid reason to spend the extra 200 bucks on the Moto G Power (2026), and if you ask me, the Moto G Power (2025) wins the head-to-head battle with the similarly priced Samsung Galaxy A17 5G as well.

The only disadvantage of Motorola's low-cost 6.8-incher is the long-term software support, with everything from the 120Hz refresh rate-capable screen to the IP68, IP69, and MIL-STD-810H durability certifications, stylish vegan leather finish, and higher RAM count making the superior overall value proposition more than obvious.
