Galaxy A37 gets its first proper discount in months for Prime Day

Amazon Prime Day in October doesn't just give you massive discounts on the best flagship phones from Samsung but also some Galaxy A models, like the Galaxy A37. During the limited-time shopping event, you can get this Android phone with 256GB of onboard storage with a solid 19% discount.

So, instead of coughing up some $540 for this configuration, you can now get it for just under $440. You're looking at a solid $100 price cut and the best deal I've seen on this model in more than three months. You can only save with Prime, so keep that in mind.

• The Galaxy Z Fold 8 and other higher-end models are also on sale during the Amazon Prime Big Deal Days event.

While the Galaxy A37 is a mid-range model, it doesn't skimp on specs. In fact, you're getting a pretty good-looking 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display that delivers excellent visuals for the price. On top of that, it features an in-house Exynos 1480 chip, giving you more potential for daily use and light multitasking.

The model is actually more powerful than similarly priced Motorola options, making it the clearly better choice if you're after maximum value for your money. Couple that with up to six years of continuous OS updates and some Awesome Intelligence features, and you're getting a pretty good package.

For context, Awesome Intelligence is like Galaxy AI on a diet, so it doesn't give you the full suite of AI extras. Still, you get Circle to Search, Object Eraser, and some other useful features powered, helping you quickly find answers or remove unwanted objects from your photos.

Although the 256GB Galaxy A37 may be a tad expensive at its full price, Amazon's ongoing Prime Day deal brings it to a much more affordable price. Grab yours with Prime and save $100.
