Yet another Huawei P8 image leaks, reminds us of the iPhone 6

looks like a iPhone 4/iPhone 5/iPhone 6 hybrid ,
probably a new creative approach , copy old phones and new phones and mashem together.

Isn't the iPhone a China phone? They all have something n common. They are all cheap, until you import them. They are all fragile and cheap. They look cheap, feel cheap. The only thing not cheap is the price. Typical Chinese products.
I don't see what the problem is if a Chinese company copy's another. They are all Chinese products.

China is responsible for a huge number of products, at least in America. I don't know exactly which country you live and so I won't assume, but in the U.S. Chinese and Korean made products tend to last longer and cost less than American made products. Being Chinese doesn't mean it's bad. There's chinese companies that make low quality products and the same for American companies. You're coming off as a bit of a racist.

Why are some big manufacturers "inspired" by the bottom part of the iPhone 6? First Samsung then Huawei.
8. seven7dust (unregistered)
that design looks nice on metal , machining holes as speaker grills
Apple been doing that since the powerbook days in 2004, still looks quite good 10 years later.
47. Simona (unregistered)
iphone copied power button from android phones . inspired and putted it on side instead top ;)
50. spiderpig2894 (Posts: 578; Member since: 10 Jan 2012)
Nah. Power button placements are just common sense.
55. mrochester (Posts: 521; Member since: 17 Aug 2014)
Power buttons on the side don't make sense, and it's certainly a worse placement than the top.

I guess a pretty reasonable and neat design good job huawei..and apple

The Huawei P series "always" (for a lot of people) look like iPhones so stop it. However if you have ideas for a brand new design I think that you should apply for a job at their R&D department.

The galaxy s6 bottom looks more like the iPhone 6 than this..

PA - "Yet another Huawei P8 image leaks, reminds us of the iPhone 6",
Apparently, PA only knows how Apple and Samsung products looks like but nothing else.....

In the meantime the articles Hauwei P8 has three models.
It consists of P8, P8 Lite or Mini, P8 Max.
I guess P8 Lite(Mini) is a side fingerprint scanner, P8 and P8 Max is to be back fingerprint scanner.
46. Simona (unregistered)
normal P8 will have fingerprint
max won't have
and mini might have f print too

I guess every other phone reminds PhoneArena of Apple iPhone
20. Spikes9s (Posts: 52; Member since: 09 Aug 2013)
I am one of the many Huawei P series, happy owner! There is no copy of a copy phone category!!! All phones are inspired in some other phone who came before and so on...!!! The one with no sin, please throw the first stone...

At least the speaker holes are different, look at s6, it looks even more similar to the iPhone from the bottom. All things aside, S6 is still a great device, but I am happy with my note 4 ^-^

After reading all the comments in this article, i can conclude that... Damn, it's hard to satisfy people :)
23. ikenvape (Posts: 169; Member since: 28 May 2014)
its rounded and metal with two screws holding a USB port for fortification needs. There is no 3.5mm three and two speakers. I don't see this having anything to do with iPhone 6. Sony kicked off the rounded design. You're just trolling PA. why do you guys always steal the thunder from other phone manufacturers.
25. darkkjedii (Posts: 19400; Member since: 05 Feb 2011)
Nice, but outta all these copy cat designs, Samsung nailed it the best. Using the iPhone 4, and 6 as its inspiration, made for a great looking device.
30. TechieXP1969 (Posts: 7831; Member since: 25 Sep 2013)
Ypu need to look at the speaker grill on the Ativ S. Its round drilled holes. Apple didnt have such prior to this device being released. I am not saying APple used the Ativ S as inspriration. I am saying, between Apple and Samsung, Samsung did it first.
Samsung moved the speaker to the bottom, because customers complained that when it is on the back, it muffles the sound which means you have to have the volume higher. Which is true. So its back on the bottom.
You guys have your face so far up the iPhones butt, that you never see the release of any other phone and how they look or are designed.
Not only does the iPhone 6 mimic the drilled holes, it took on the exact shape and the beveled/rounded edges all the way around. In fact, if you put tape over the homes buttons and the speaker and sensor cutouts at the top, both phones look 100% identical, yet the ATIV S was released in 2012.
The new iPhone basically also nearly shares the Ativ S specs too.
Amazing Samsung is always he copier and Apple is always the copyee. And yes I know that isn't a word, I made it up, just like you saying Samsung copied the iPhone 6.
35. darkkjedii (Posts: 19400; Member since: 05 Feb 2011)
You can get the hell on with that. Tell it to someone who cares. I have eyesight, don't need your commentary chump.
39. TechieXP1969 (Posts: 7831; Member since: 25 Sep 2013)
Typical. Can't have a reasonable argument, always have to resort to name calling. Typical Apple Fan-Troll.
42. darkkjedii (Posts: 19400; Member since: 05 Feb 2011)
See post 25. I don't wanna talk to you period, and wish you wouldn't ever respond to my posts, to be honest.

There is a problem in the pictures .
The number of the grills in Pic1 and Pic2 are not the same .
29. akshayguptahere (Posts: 4; Member since: 25 May 2014)
Yup... Its a copy of iPhone!!!
If there is speaker grill at bottom, its an iPhone copy; if it's at back, its Samsung copy; if at top and bottom both, then its a Sony/Htc copy!!
If they are manufacturing slim and metallic
phones WHICH IS A CURRENT CONSUMER DEMAND, ITS A COPY OF CONCEPT/DESIGN of some popular company.
SERIOUSLY, some people need to press F5 button and refresh their brain because the world outside is too big. THE BASIC DESIGN of a phone or tv or fan will remain same throughout the world.
It's also a cheap move by PHONEARENA by promoting their news article using the word IPHONE AND COPY again and again!!
31. TechieXP1969 (Posts: 7831; Member since: 25 Sep 2013)
PA doesn't have too. The ignorant fanbois, say it more than enough times. But they only have room in their tiny brains to remember what an iphone looks like so they can identify what they think is a copy.
You will never here them say how the Phone 6 copies the ATIV S design. Oh and the ATIV S actually has drilled speaker holes that are round. The speaker is just on the back.
They wont say how Apple copied quick toggle, and the notification screen from Android. They wont say how Apple copied widgets. They dont speak about how iOS copies MIUI. It's always the other way around with them.
Apple fanbois are the worse hypocrites on the planet when it comes to tech. Yet even today they think a phone with components from 2012 is more premium than a phone with 2014 components

I don't know which website you're visiting, but aside from a few obvious trolls, there's little to no Apple fans on this website.
37. TechieXP1969 (Posts: 7831; Member since: 25 Sep 2013)
Apple fams are tolls. They are equal to Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. They are one in the same, as Clark Kent is to Superman.
40. TechieXP1969 (Posts: 7831; Member since: 25 Sep 2013)
I don't know which website you're visiting, but aside from a few obvious fanboys of Apple, you must be blind or one of them.
There I fixed it for you.
41. nwright94 (Posts: 191; Member since: 14 Oct 2014)
Yes, I am a fan of Apple they make great products. I also absolutely love my Microsoft Xbox, Sony PS4, Samsung TV, and Bose headphones. I'd buy products from any of those companies again. I'm a technology fanboy, I don't limit myself to one company and then trash the others. I see you quite often on here trashing others and it doesn't make you cool, in fact it makes you seem quite sad.

36. TechieXP1969 (Posts: 7831; Member since: 25 Sep 2013)
I thought I heard it said, "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery."
No other tech company on this planet has copied more products styles, more software capabilities and more designs than Apple. That is simply fact. They steal and copy product names and design and call it their own.
Just for reference. I took an iPhone 6 and Ativ S and just blacked out the cutouts and home button and screen with photoshops.
The Ativ S was released in 2012 anf the iPhone 6 2014.
Who copied what?
44. Simona (unregistered)
I can see how arena envy ?? haha so they must comparing it with iphone ..
but when they SPAMMING its site with S6 that's fine .. no comparsion where S6 copied iphone 100% !!!
48. mrochester (Posts: 521; Member since: 17 Aug 2014)
This is the unfortunate consequence of being the leader in technology; everyone else tries to copy and mimic you. I'd be flattered if I were Apple.
49. Taters (banned) (Posts: 6474; Member since: 28 Jan 2013)
That's quite disappointing. The P7 was the nicest looking phone let down by the mediatek chip not being quite on par with the Qualcomm chip. This looks butt ugly in comparison.

PA's love for the iPhone 6 has gone beyond every limit! ... To them everything will look like the iPhone 6! Soon we'll have articles about tablets also reminding them of the iPhone 6 ... or even laptops!
52. carlemillward (unregistered)
iPhone 7 comes out in 2016 Q3? HTC's new flagship Q1. Both new designs expected. Hopefully they do not end up the same. Samsung can rest a bit in the design department, they did well. Sony, I really have no idea if they need to change. LG will marginally improve design keeping G2 and G3 design, maybe having sd and removable battery. Motorola... that is going to be interesting. Huawei is a mix of Sony Z series and iPhone 4, but does a really, if not better job.
54. lyndon420 (Posts: 3709; Member since: 11 Jul 2012)
Get your eyes checked PA...they look nothing alike except for the metal used.
