Realistic-looking dummy of the Galaxy S6 EDGE+ compared to the Galaxy Note 4
So far, we've heard a number of reports that the Galaxy Note line may not get a curved-screen unit this year. Instead, whispers say that the expected Galaxy S6 EDGE+ will come to fulfill customers' needs for edgy phablets, while the Note 5 will be the only 2015 phone to bear the signature S-Pen stylus.

Now, as far as hardware goes, while the Note 5 is rumored to bear a turbo-powered Exynos 7422 SoC and 4 GB of RAM, reports claim that the Galaxy S6 EDGE+ will copy the specs of the regular S6 edge – Exynos 7420 and 3 GB of RAM.

In terms of design, the curvy phablet is expected to look exactly like the “normal” one, only inflated up to size in order to accommodate a 5.7” screen. We've already seen possible cases, and even a dummy unit that manufacturers ship out to case makers so they can start working on the accessories. Now, how about a few photos of an actual S6 EDGE+, compared to the Galaxy Note 4 that we are all familiar with?

In all honesty, the source does claim that what we see below is actually a dummy of the curved phablet. However, it's a pretty sophisticated one, and it looks quite convincing. So, if you happen to let out a drop of drool or two while looking at the pictures – don't worry, it's a common reaction.

Now, as far as when we will actually be able to see the new top-shelf Samsung phablets, curiously, it may be much sooner than the expected September date, as various sources say that an August 12 launch date is very possible.
