Prince of Persia 2 is coming to smartphones and tablets with new, 3D graphics and all

Do you remember Prince of Persia 2: The Shadow and the Flame? Released in 1993, the game was the sequel to one of the most influential game titles ever, and while we know that a lot of you would be thrilled to have the chance to try it out on your mobile devices, it looks like Ubisoft is preparing something even better for us.

The studio has completely remade the dusty classic and is bringing it to smartphones and tablets in glorious 3D! This way, we'll be able to experience the exciting story of the Prince, but in a modern way, without having to stare at those cute, yet ancient graphics.

There is no word yet regarding the availability date and the platforms Prince of Persia 2: The Shadow and the Flame is going to come out for, but it's safe to assume that iOS and Android will be in the mix.

For those who just can't wait for the game to come out, there are Prince of Persia Classic for Android (remake of the original), as well as Prince of Persia Classic and Prince of Persia Warrior Within for iOS.
