A small piece of the story behind the Passengers movie starring Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence has been ported on smaller screens. If you haven't yet seen the film, we don't really recommend playing the game, which contains spoilers and exclusive behind-the-scene looks.

However, if you don't intend to watch the movie, or you've already seen it, the official Passengers mobile game could be an interesting extension of the movie.

Passengers: Official Game is a RPG (role playing game) title, in which players must discover the truth about the passengers of the starship Avalon, which critically malfunctioned on its 120-year space voyage to a colony planet.

You must find out what happened as quickly as possible since more than 5,000 passengers are at risk. The game is full of mysteries, but also contains a romance story between the two protagonists.

There's a lot of dialog and text in general in the Passengers mobile game, but you'll have to read between the lines, as well as decipher the ship logs and watch exclusive security footage if you want to succeed in learning what really happened.

Unfortunately, the Passengers mobile game doesn't come for free, but it's not that expensive either at £1.99 ($2.49). It's available now in the App Store and Google Play.
