Samsung didn't do anything breathtaking at this year's MWC. The Seoul-based manufacturer postponed the unveiling of the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, but delighted some of its fans with the introduction of a new tablet – the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3.

A few days ago, we reported that US retailer Best Buy created a listing for the Tab S3 with a price tag of $599.99 for the Wi-Fi only version of the device, but no information was given on when we could actually expect to see the tablet hit the shelves in the country. However, SlashGear has apparently been in touch with the tech giant, as the media states that it has official confirmation from Samsung about the official price and release date for the Tab S3.

The $599.99 retail price from Best Buy appears to be correct, while the tech news network also reveals that the device will be available for pre-order at Amazon, Best Buy, and Samsung.com on March 17. The Tab S3 will be available for in-store purchases a week later, on March 24.

In addition to top-notch specifications, the latest gadget from Samsung will also come with a new and improved S Pen, and while the Tab S3 will undoubtedly be one of the most powerful Android tablets out there, we can't help but wonder if it will sell well in a market that has been in decline for years.
