Fresh Fiber kickstarts a custom 3D case campaign for iPad

Some of you have heard about 3Dprinting, but even though the technology is there, it still seems tobe far away from mass market. Not for long, if Fresh Fiber succeed intheir $20k Kickstarter fundraiser goal, which is set to bring custom3D cases for Apple's iPad.

Dutch designers from Fresh Fiberpromise to bring “the worlds first online tool by which people canvirtually sculpt their personal text, logo, name or icon, into 3Dprinted iPad Cases. In this way, the Case design becomes one of akind, a personal story about you.” Well, the project depends on thegenerosity of people willing to make their gadgets personal.

And while this particular project istailor-designed for the first iPad and users can opt to get a case for the next-gen iPad when it appears, others on thefundraising website such as the PadPivot, are targeted at alltablets. Check out the links below for all the inspiring details.
