Facebook says there isn't plans for a HTC Facebook phone

Yesterday we reported that a British newspaper "City A.M." is claiming that HTC has been in the development stage making a Facebook branded phone, which might make an appearence at the MWC next month. Later, Dan Rose (head of business development for Facebook) stated "This is really just another example of a
manufacturer who has taken our public APIs and integrated them into
their device in an interesting way." Further, Dan Rose stated "The rumors around there being something more to this HTC device are overblown", and when further asked about a Facebook branded HTC phone, he said "No."
So once again, "insiders" say there is a Facebook phone in the works, yet the official word from Facebook is that it doesn't exist. If one did come out, would you be interested in buying a Facebook branded HTC Android smartphone? Let us know in the Comment section below.

I think that would be the best thing ever. Im very addicted to Facebook. It's like the new internet newspaper. People connect with people that they havent seen in years. Others find people in there family they havent seen in years. Its the greatest thing ever. Its sooo much better than Myspace has ever been. Keep improving Facebook and even make a phone for Facebook cause im sure it will sell fast and be the best thing ever.

I doubt that there is going to be a "Facebook" phone, but there will probably be a few phones that are centered around social networking.
