Asus tablets usually come in pairs, but the ZenPad 3S 10 revealed back in February at Mobile World Congress came alone. Well, the large tablet won't remain unpaired for too long, as Asus quietly introduced the smaller version of the 10-inch slate, the ZenPad 3S 8.0.

As the name suggests, the new ZenPad 3S 8.0 is smaller than the ZenPad 3S 10, but some specs are slightly better. For example, the slate is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor, as opposed to the Snapdragon 650 CPU inside the ZenPad 3S 10.

The ZenPad 3S 8.0 packs 4GB RAM and either 32GB or 64GB of internal memory. A cheaper version of the tablet with 3GB RAM, but the same amount of storage, will be available as well.

Furthermore, the tablet sports a 7.9-inch with 1536 x 2048 pixels resolution, as well as a 13-megapixel primary camera that goes along with a secondary 5-megapixel selfie snapper.

Asus has yet to announce how much the ZenPad 3S 8.0 will cost and when it will be available for purchase, but we do know it will ship with Android 7.1 Nougat operating system right out of the box.
