Literally the worst phone I ever had. I bout it after I broke my galaxy s4 mini and didn't have enough money. It has to load to get to the home screan???? i have to click on the text message option about 5 or 6 times before it will take me into the text messages because it will just go out of it and wont load them. Snapchat is so slow and the camera is so bad its not even worth taking pictures. Only app that is worth going on is facebook. Ive dropped it so many times though and it only has a few cracks (I drop things alot). The normal battery it comes with isn't even worth it because fully charged it only lasts about 5 hours on standby, using it it last about 2 hours. With out the extended battery its really not even worth to have to normal battery. Anyway if you want to get a new phone just because its cheap don't do it!!! Obiviously that didn't work out for me. Now i just had to spend $300 to buy a galaxy s4 again because i can't even deal with this phone anymore. I'm smashing it with a sledge hammer when i get my new phone.
- built very sturdy
- slow as F
- horrible 4g connection
- has to load to get to the home screan
This phone would have been great for the average user but the lack of support on the part of HTC and Verizon Wireless has plagued this phone. My experience with this phone was decent because I was rooted and unlocked, which allows me to use custom ROMs, etc.
- Build quality
- Battery life
When I first got this phone I was extremely excited with it being my first smart phone. However, not too long afterward I began experiencing major issues such as very poor battery and lack of Internet connection even with full bars. After the update to ics the phone became painstakingly slow and borderline unusable. I did a factory reset, no help. I bought a brand new battery, still have terrible battery life. I can't wait to switch to a Samsung product first chance I get because the thunderbolt is one of my worst decisions ever.
