The world around you may be falling apart—and rapidly, on top of it—but the smartphone industry has provided us with a wonderful opportunity to laugh out loud. As you know, Apple finally joined the foldable race with the iPhone Duo and about ten days ago, it finally launched.
The trouble is that the first foldable iPhone isn't enjoying warm greetings and smooth receptions. All around the world, users are complaining about their iPhone Duo's cracked display without them dropping it or abusing it in any way.
That's Crackgate, but that's not the end of the story. There are complaints about purple lines, bulging hinges and gaping panel profiles.
Samsung, Apple's archenemy, didn't think twice before lashing out a barrage in the form of ads and videos, designed to mock the fragile Duo.
The next round
Now, Samsung takes a much more refined and polished approach to the task of trolling Apple.
But there are several things worth mentioning: Apple and the iPhone Duo itself aren't mentioned even once in the entire post. But the "How To Not Crack Under Pressure" title gives it away: it's obviously aimed at Apple's Crackgate.

Samsung carefully explains what makes the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra so reliable. Confidence in a foldable, Sammy argues, comes from both the product and the support behind it. Samsung can brag about this all day long; they've got seven years of experience (they, along with Huawei, started the foldable revolution in 2019).

A meme bonanza, put people are so angry
The faulty iPhone Duo units have inspired a ton of memes online, but not everybody is laughing.

It's a real shame that Apple fans have to go through this right now. The iPhone Duo was something that everybody was waiting for (for years and years) and it's not exactly cheap at $2,000—so I get why people are mad.
