The color options that will be available for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra have been all but confirmed after a new leak. All four leaked colors also stay true to a previous report, which means that we pretty much know the names that Samsung is going to use for the four options.

Four new colors for the Galaxy S26 Ultra

According to a new leak, the SIM card slots for the Galaxy S26 Ultra have been spotted, and have revealed the new colors for the phone. In the simplest of words, the four colors are as follows:

  • Black
  • White
  • Blue
  • Purple

However, due to the aforementioned previous leak, the Galaxy S26 Ultra colors have been named as such:

  • Black Shadow
  • White Shadow
  • Galactical Blue
  • Ultraviolet

These colors, of course, don’t include any online-exclusive options that Samsung will likely announce as well.

Ultraviolet seems promising

While black, white, and blue are pretty standard color options for smartphones, the new purple shade — Ultraviolet — aims to spice things up a bit. Purple has been making a comeback recently, and was also spotted on the iPhone 17 as Lavender last year.

However, if you want even brighter or more unconventional colors, you will probably have to wait for the online exclusive options. The Galaxy S25 Ultra offered green and pink shades for online purchases from Samsung’s site, and similar exciting colors are sure to make their way to the company’s upcoming flagship as well.

Doing right what Apple did wrong

Personally, I’m just happy to see that Samsung didn’t follow in Apple’s footsteps and remove the black color option for its strongest flagship offering. The iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro Max don’t have black options, which I reckon is Apple’s strategy for convincing more people to try out the iPhone Air instead.

Of course, color options are hardly the main selling point for the Galaxy S26 Ultra. The phone will reportedly finally be seeing an upgrade to charging speeds, and is also coming with an exciting new “privacy display” that can hide the contents of your screen from others.

Perhaps most excitingly of all, the Galaxy S26 Ultra battery is also seeing a modest increase after years of sticking with the tried and true 5,000 mAh.
