That's right, the latest addition to Samsung's (relatively) popular Fan Edition product roster is up for grabs stateside today (just as the company announced last week), but what nobody knew until now is that the 6.7-inch smartphone includes a $200 Amazon gift card in its list prices in both 128 and 256GB storage variants.
That's obviously not the same thing as actually slashing said $699.99 and $799.99 regular prices, but... it's pretty close, as it allows you to heavily discount one or several other items sold by Amazon, which can be almost anything you can think of.
The Galaxy S26 FE, remember, is a little more expensive than its predecessor, which came as no surprise following all the price hikes triggered by industry-wide component cost increases across Samsung's product portfolio (as well as those of Apple, Motorola, Lenovo, Amazon, Google, and many other brands) over the last few months.
Still, that was a pretty tough pill to swallow considering the many obvious similarities between the S26 FE and last year's Galaxy S25 FE, which is... almost exactly the same phone. The only notable differences are a newer and faster Exynos 2500 chip inside the newer Fan Edition handset and an arguably more elegant rear-facing camera island that includes three virtually unchanged imaging sensors.
As such, the $200 Amazon freebie should definitely go a long way in boosting the mass appeal and overall value proposition of the Galaxy S26 FE. While I'm still not sure I'd call the "new" 6.7-incher one of the best Android phones money can buy right now, at least you have another reason to choose it over Google's $899 Pixel 11, for instance, in addition to that generous screen real estate.
But before pulling the trigger, you may also want to look at last year's Galaxy S25 Plus, which continues to be on sale at a huge discount with a superior Snapdragon 8 Elite processor under the hood.
