I’ve been using Huawei’s new sports-focused smartwatch, the Watch GT 7 Pro, for the last several weeks, and I’m honestly super impressed by how fresh and cool its design is.
The overall shape remains true to the previous versions, but the colors, some subtle details, and the bands are brand new.
The colorsways, specifically, are my favorite new thing about the Watch GT 7 series. I don’t care much for the black model, but just take a look at the green and yellow ones below – are these some super-fresh watches or what? The GT 7 Pro designs are slightly different from the GT 7, but both variations look super-cool and sporty (in a stylish way).

The one I’m testing is the green Watch GT 7 Pro, and while I can’t say it fits with all my outfits, it is surprisingly versatile.

But the design ingenuity doesn’t end here. Look at the the new sport strap’s locking mechanism: it has a new tuck-under design that is just as convenient as a conventional strap, but that much cleaner, more secure and cooler. Nothing sticks out, nothing distracts from the look of the watch on your wrist.

Such details like the tuck-under strap design are small, but they make a big difference in the long run.
Honestly, I haven't been very active over the last couple of years, which is obviously a mistake. You should never let your workout routine go to hell, no matter how busy of a lifestyle you lead.
But with beautiful, feature-rich and accessible smartwatches like the Huawei Watch GT 7 Pro – I feel like my return to a more active lifestyle is that much closer. This is a testament to how much value is packed into this watch, because, at the end of the day, that’s what it’s been made for, right? To push us to move, burn calories, and live healthier lives.
