Do you like your phones as big and as powerful as they come, but for some reason don't want to purchase the 6.9-inch Galaxy S26 Ultra at a huge $380 Prime Day discount? Then it's probably a good idea to consider the 6.8-inch Pixel 10 Pro XL right now.

I'll be honest, I'm a little disappointed with this (barely) improved Prime Day 2026 deal, especially after seeing the Galaxy S26, S26 Plus, and S26 Ultra score deeper and deeper price cuts as Amazon's summer sale entered its latter stages. I was just about certain the e-commerce giant would eventually bump up the Pixel 10 Pro XL's initial $310 Prime Day discount to $350 or more, but the event is ending in less than 24 hours, so it's probably time to stop daydreaming and make your final buying decision.

Do I think the Pixel 10 Pro XL is better than the Galaxy S26 Ultra? Not necessarily, as it lacks both stylus support and groundbreaking Privacy Display functionality while packing a Google-made chip that's not really on par with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 in terms of raw power.

But if you're a so-called Android purist or just a hardcore Google fan and have no plans to go for a Pixel 10 Pro Fold or a compact Pixel 10 or Pixel 10 Pro, you will undoubtedly regret missing this opportunity to save big on the search giant's biggest "conventional" phone.

And yes, the Pixel 10 Pro XL is clearly one of the best Android phones money can buy in 2026 thanks to its gorgeous display, outstanding cameras, and extra-large battery with blazing fast charging, and no, I don't expect the repetitive Pixel 11 Pro XL to radically change that when it sees daylight in the fall.
