Vertu pairs up with Bentley to create luxurious smartphones, the first one coming this fall

Bentley, one of the most premium British car manufacturers, and Vertu, another British-situated maker that is responsible for some of the more luxurious phones in recent years, today announced that they have signed an exclusive five-year partnership in order to bring a new line of luxurious smartphones to the market. As a whole, the union between the two will produce 5 different smartphones throughout the given time period, and each of the devices will “encompass authentic and iconic Bentley design elements and luxury lifestyle services”. The devices will be developed jointly designed by engineers from both companies, which suggests that they might turn out to be pretty eye-catching (and wallet-emptying, mind you!).

These Vertu smartphones will not only come with distinctive Bentley-inspired exterior, but a preloaded app will provide exclusive access to Bentley content for lucky owners of such top-end vehicles. It is said that  Vertu's own exclusive services, such as Concierge, will most probably be on board, as well.

"The unique experience of luxury and performance inherent in every Bentley has now found further expression in the world’s most desirable mobile phone"

The first Vertu-Bentley smartphone is said to arrive as early as this October. Let's hope that it will be running Android and will be as potent as the $11,000 Vertu Signature Touch. We are already salivating over the pizzazz and oomph that will surely flood the market of luxurious devices this fall.
