Verizon's $300 price cut on Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL now available online
Four days ago, we told you about Verizon's new deal for the Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL. Without requiring a trade-in, as Verizon demanded in a previous version of the deal, new and existing Big Red customers are able to walk into a nearby Verizon Store and save $300 on the purchase of either new Pixel model. The phones must be bought using Verizon's device payment plan, and the $300 discount is applied through a bill credit of $12.50 that will show up on your account each month for two years.

While the deal was being offered inside Big Red stores only, that was scheduled to change today. And sure enough, you can now take advantage of this deal online. In addition to the savings on the phones, when you purchase either the Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL you are given the opportunity to buy the Google Home smart speaker at 50% off.

With the discounts included, you will end up paying the following amounts for these specific models:

  • Pixel 2 (64GB)-$14.58 per month for 24 months.
  • Pixel 2 (128GB)-$18.74 per month for 24 months.
  • Pixel 2 XL (64GB)-$22.91 per month for 24 months.
  • Pixel 2 XL (128GB)-$27.08 per month for 24 months.

Pixel 2 buyers will pay $65 for the Google Home, a 50% haircut from the smart speaker's original retail price of $129.99. And the good news is that this can now be done online. If it's a real bother to show up at your local Verizon retail location, simply click on the appropriate sourcelink to take advantage of this deal.
