Ubisoft bringing Rocksmith to iOS, but only on iPads

Ubisoft has just announced it will launch its popular Rocksmith game on iOS devices. After selling 4 million units since its release, the game will soon make its debut in the App Store.

In fact, if you live in Canada, you can already download the game as part of a soft launch. Keep in mind though that Rocksmith will only be compatible with iPads running iOS 9.0 or later (iOS 10 or newer is recommended).

For those unaware, Rocksmith allows players to learn to play an electric guitar. The game is aimed at players of all skill levels since it comes with various tools that enable them to set their own difficulty and speed for practice.

Rocksmith includes a set of songs recorded by original artists, and its library is expanded on a weekly basis. Players can tackle any song thanks to the dynamic difficulty system, which automatically adjusts to their playing skills.

Ubisoft's game comes with four free songs and unlimited access to interactive lessons and practice tools that allow players to learn guitar or bass. Additional songs are available via in-app purchases.
