Developer Runic Games confirmed it would bring its highly-acclaimed action RPG title Torchlight to mobile devices. The announcement was made back in 2015, but it took the company two years to manage to soft-launch the game.

Dubbed Torchlight: The Legend Continues, the game is now available for free in the Philippines, and you can download it either from the App Store or Google Play. The game is developed by Shanghai Efun Technology and, while it follows the same action-RPG formula that made the video game so popular, it steers away from the original to make it more appealing to mobile gamers.

According to developers, Torchlight's equipment system strongly resembles that of Diablo's. Each of the three role classes has six main skills, and each 2 of them can be mixed to get a combined skill. Basically, you can make combinations between 36 skills, thus getting 120 kinds of combined skills.

Another strong attribute the game inherits from Diablo and Torchlight series is the randomness. Players will face random monsters in each stage and will be able to fish in random ponds. Random hiding rooms, monster skills, and random loot are part of the game too.

No word on when the game will be released worldwide, but the developers are probably waiting for feedback to address all players' concerns before getting this out to a larger audience.
