HTC's Desire 626 leaks
We are expecting much from HTC this year, namely the successor to its 2014 One (M8) flagship - the HTC One (M9), reportedly codenamed "Hima". It's already shaping up like a beastly device, but we'll probably have to wait until the MWC expo.

In the meantime, it seems that the One (M9) won't be the sole new HTC device to make the rounds after a month or so. See, if certain rumors are to be believed, HTC is also prepping a new addition to its Desire line of phones, which will almost certainly be known as the HTC Desire 626.

According to @upleaks, this new Desire will arrive with a 5-inch 720p display, either an octa-core 1.7GHz MediaTek chipset with 2GB of RAM or a quad-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 one with 1GB of RAM, a 13MP rear snapper, a 5MP selfie camera at the front, 16GB of native storage in both variations of the device, and last, but not least, a 2,000mAh battery under the rear hood.

Software-wise, it's not surprising that the device will be adorned with HTC's own Sense UI, based on Android 4.4.4 KitKat, yet @upleaks claims that the Desire 626 will eventually get treated to the Lollipop sweetness.

We also have two alleged  pictures of this expected device, according to which it won't stray much away from HTC's design language for the Desire series. We guess we'd know more for the HTC Desire 626 or whatever it ends up being called at the MWC expo. Stay tuned!
