The cases fight back: glittery iPhone cases recalled because they burn customers' skin

Ah, who doesn't like a shiny, glittery case? Actually, nobody does, get rid of them now. Not feeling inclined yet? Well how about this — your glittery case can literally burn you. Casemaker MixBin, who has been making accessories sold on Amazon and in huge stores like Victoria's Secret is recalling some 275,000 iPhone cases due to safety concerns.

The issue comes from the liquid, which holds the shiny pieces of glitter inside. Apparently, it's a chemical, which causes skin irritation and permanent burns if it gets on a user's body. Reportedly, dozens of customers have complained that their case has injured them, which sparked an internal investigation at MixBin.

The manufacturer is now recalling 24 models of its cases for the iPhone 6, iPhone 6s, and iPhone 7 and customers that bring theirs in will get a full refund. Check out the full list of all recalled models in the source link below
