Sony shows off the Xperia C4 Dual in promo video
Sony last week announced the Xperia C4, a new selfie smartphone that's ready to succeed the Xperia C3 from 2014. Before actually launching it (this will happen starting June), Sony is showcasing the Xperia C4 in a short promo video, so interested customers can take a quick look at its main features.

The video is showing the dual SIM version of the new handset, which is called Xperia C4 Dual, presenting its "anti-scratch and crisp" 5.5-inch 1080p display, the "5 MP smart social selfie camera" on the front, the 13 MP rear camera, the "elegant and ultra slim design", and so on. The new Xperia is powered by a 64-bit, 1.7 GHz octa-core MediaTek MTK6752 processor, while other features include Android Lollipop, LTE (market dependable), Sony 3D Surround Sound technology, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of expandable storage space, and a 2600 mAh battery.

The Xperia C4 will be available in three color versions: black, white, and mint. Sony didn't say how much the C4 will cost, and neither exactly where it's going to be released. Anyway, let us know if you're planning to buy the C4, and, if yes: how much would you be wiling to pay for it?

No more Walkman app?

It's being rebranded as "Music". A lot of die hard Sony fans hate the idea, but to be honest it makes sense. If Sony wants to push it's services it should be easily recognizable. With younger kids getting smartphones not everyone will know what a Walkman is and will use another app and pay for their services.

Sony should've been creative when choosing a new brand name not a generic name every devices use.

Yeah I agree with you @settings they need to distinguish themselves to others. Walkman app is a unique name that when you say, people will recognized that's it's from Sony.

I know right? Are they doing this in favor of Spotify (they ditched Music Unlimited too) or just another dumb decision they always make.

No offense but no one in middle school or ages 15 and below will know what a Walkman is. Many might just forgo even trying to use the app and not know what it actually was. Sure, a different name could have been chosen besides "Music", but it still needs to be easily recognizable, and with newer generations Walkman isn't well known
