Sony Xperia Z2 system dump available for download
XDA member DooMLoRD has posted on Sunday the system dump for the recently announced Sony Xperia Z2. The Android 4.4.2 17.1.A.0.289 firmware build is a bit older than the 17.1.A.1.2 build that was certified with the Sony Xperia Z2 and the Sony Xperia Tablet Z, and is considered to be unstable with some bugs. It was spotted on a prototype of the Sony D6503 Sirius and the dump was apparently taken from the same prototype.
The system dump is available from the sourcelink below. Now, it will be up to developers to extract some of Sony's apps and features out of the information and turn it into ROMs for other Android devices.
The Sony Xperia Z2 was just introduced at MWC and will launch internationally some time later this month.
