Sony Xperia XZ vs Xperia X Performance vs Xperia Z5: A quick specs comparison

2comments

Sony has just announced its brand-new top-tier model – the Xperia XZ. A bit too soon, you might think to yourself, after the company just launched the super-powered Xperia X Performance a few months ago. Well, it's just how Sony rolls — the company loves releasing flagship after flagship, for better or worse.

So, for the past year, we've seen exactly three flagship Sony smartphones — the Xperia Z5, released in October of 2015, the Xperia X Performance, which hit store shelves in June this year, and now, the newly-announced XZ, slated for launch in October of 2016. Having so little time between them, are these smartphones truly different?

Well, on the outside, sure — we'd say Sony has definitely evolved its design further, without losing its signature look. But what about on the inside? Here's a quick look at the specs of all three flagships, side by side.
