Red hot Galaxy S10e version is also in the works, but there's still no word on a US release
If you're excited to see Samsung further expanding the chromatic diversity of the Galaxy S10 lineup but don't expect to be able to afford the two larger models in a snazzy new "Cardinal Red" flavor, serial leaker Roland Quandt has some great news to deliver via German publication WinFuture (translated).

As it turns out, there's a fiery red version of the lower-cost Galaxy S10e in the pipeline as well, which is likely to be released at around the same time and in the same markets as the Cardinal Red Galaxy S10 and S10+. Said markets will probably include a handful of European countries in addition to Korea and China, but unfortunately, we have nothing to report on the US availability front yet, either officially or unofficially.

If recent history is any indication, the eye-catching trio will most likely never land in the US. At least not through any official retail channels. That would follow the tradition of the gorgeous Burgundy Red Galaxy S9 and S8 models, but then again, there seems to be something special about the Galaxy S10 family as far as paint jobs are concerned.

The "regular" S10 and "budget-friendly" S10e are already available stateside in an eclectic quartet of colors from their manufacturer's official e-store, ranging from black to pink, while the S10+ can be purchased in a grand total of six variants, including everything from Prism Blue to Ceramic White and Ceramic Black.

Besides, if there's one Galaxy S10 version that needs even more color and diversity to properly compete in its class, that's definitely the Galaxy S10e. Its direct Apple-made $750 adversary is currently available in six hues, including red, so here's hoping Samsung will try to provide even stiffer competition for the iPhone XR soon.

Obviously, the Cardinal Red Galaxy S10e is expected to match the specs and features of the other color options, from a 5.8-inch flat AMOLED screen to a Snapdragon 855 processor, 6GB RAM, 128GB internal storage space, dual 12 + 16MP rear-facing cameras, single 10MP selfie shooter, and 3,100 mAh battery.
