OnePlus, the company that promises to 'never settle', has just unveiled its newest phone: welcome the OnePlus 6.

OnePlus has kept on improving a winning formula with its phones: a flagship-grade, no-compromise experience at a price much more affordable than that of mainstream phones like Apple's iPhone or Samsung's Galaxies.

So what does the new OnePlus 6 bring to the table? Quite a lot actually: the phone comes with the tagline "the speed you need" and it features the newest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chip for maximized productivity, up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.

It also has a beautiful new glass back and a refined design that looks exquisite, an improved camera and the familiar and well-loved Dash Charge technology. But first things first: let's unbox it and see what you get here.

In the box:

  • OnePlus 6 Phone
  • Silicon Case
  • 'Dash Charge' wall charger (5V - 4A)
  • USB-C to standard USB cable (red)
  • SIM ejector tool
  • User manual

The case that is in the box is a nice bonus that we appreciate having: you might want to get a better case in the future, but it's great having a basic case to keep your phone protected while you are looking for a different case.

Another little thing that OnePlus includes with the phone is a pre-applied plastic screen protector. We recommend buying a tempered glass screen protector for your phone, but again, for those first few days or weeks, this plastic screen protector will keep your OnePlus 6 free of nasty scratches.

OnePlus also advertizes its Dash Charge technology with the tagline "a day's power in half an hour" and that's a great way of describing the advantages of this charging solution. Worth noting is that Dash Charge's fast charging speeds apply even when you are using your phone, while on many other phones fast charging only works when you are not actively using your phone.

Stay tuned to PhoneArena.com for more OnePlus 6 coverage in the coming days!
