Nokia Lumia 1020 takes over as the most popular Nokia Windows Phone model on Flickr
The Nokia Lumia 1020 may have had a quick life as the flagship Lumia model, but it still offers the best camera on a Windows Phone device. The handset has overtaken the Nokia Lumia 920 to become the most popular smartphone powered by Microsoft's mobile OS, used on Flickr. Cameras on phones produced by the Finnish based OEM are currently the 11th most popular source of photographs posted on the picture sharing site.

Now that the GDR3 update has been sent out by Microsoft, both the Nokia Lumia 1520 phablet and the unannounced Nokia Lumia 929 could prove to be even more popular Windows Phone flavored models on Flickr. No, neither has (or will have) a 41MP shooter on back, but both will have a 20MP PureView snapper with OIS. Since both could end up eventually outselling the Lumia 1020, we wouldn't be surprised to see both models top this list.

No Nokia model comes close to one of the all time favorite smartphones made by the company. Over 8.5 million pictures on Flickr's servers were uploaded from the non touchscreen Nokia N95, a phone that is older than the OG Apple iPhone and included an HTML browser and GPS capabilities.
