Moto X Force receives Android Nougat update
Motorola/Lenovo's Latin American website has posted happy news for those in the region with the Moto X Force. The handset, released in November 2015. is currently receiving its update to Android Nougat. When you receive the notification that the update has arrived, make sure that you are connected to a Wi-Fi network before starting the updating process. You should also make sure that your battery is charged to at least 50%. In the U.S., the phone is a Verizon exclusive, and is known as the Motorola DROID Turbo 2. That variant was updated to Android Nougat back in February.

The Moto X Force update includes the Android security patches through April 1st, 2017. It also features multi-window, allowing you to view two apps at the same time. Double tapping on the recent apps button will allow you to quickly switch between the two most recently used apps. You can also arrange to have background apps blocked from accessing mobile data. At the same time, certain apps can be chosen to have unlimited access to mobile data. And notifications can arrive in different categories to help you go through them easier. With the update, you'll be able to respond directly from the notifications shade, and choose different wallpaper for the lock screen and home screen.

This will be the second update for the Moto X Force, which launched with Android 5.1 and was previously updated to Android 6.0. That was the most recent build available for the handset until the latest update was announced today. A complete changelist is available from the Motorola/Lenovo website in both Spanish and English.
