More Nokia 7 Plus images appear
We've seen a few, allegedly press images of the Nokia 7 Plus before, and today Nokia's upcoming midranger got fleshed out with a bit more official footage. The snaps depict a black and a white versions that show the lock screen and fairly thin but by no means skinny bezels.

As for specs, the 6" panel will reportedly sport 18:9 aspect ratio, which results from the 1080 x 2160 (FHD+) resolution. Under the hood you'll find the Snapdragon 660 mobile platform, carrying an octa-core CPU running at a clock speed of 2.2GHz; the Adreno 512 GPU is also on board. 4GB of RAM is inside, along with 64GB of native storage. A dual camera setup using Zeiss optics is on back (12MP + 13MP), while a front-facing 16MP camera handles selfies and video chats.

With Android 8.0 pre-installed, the Nokia 7 Plus will also be the first Android One handset to carry the Nokia brand. The Nokia 7 Plus will feature a Type-C USB port and a 3.5mm earphone jack. We will be at Nokia's event at MWC, and will send all the juicy details about pricing and availability as soon as we get the go-ahead for disclosure.

The design is amazing. I hope performance is good, despite having that chip. Why didn't they use Qualcomm 845 or even 835?

Because it is a midrange phone! Nokia 9 will have QC845.

... and that's it. It looks good but add no beneficial functionality compared to other Android phones (of which many also are a "looker"). Innovation in Android ended with the Galaxy S5, LG G5 and similar devices of that era. Now they have LESS features but cost MORE! How ridiculous is that? Not to mention I prefer a "looker" in women not in phones ;-)

"Now they have LESS features but cost MORE! How ridiculous is that?" So you're just basically describing Apple. What features, for example, S8/9 have lost besides removable batteries? "Innovation in Android ended with the Galaxy S5, LG G5 and similar devices of that era." No it didn't. Dual cameras (Nokia/HMD rumoured to release a phone with 5 lenses), bezel-less screens and 18:9 aspect ratio are just some features Android phones have introduced.

Perfect phone for my friend to use ^_^ It has android one and with the 660 on board it's performance will be comparable to the 835. If priced right I will get one.

Hmm... no notification LED? No no no, Not a 18:9 screen again! It's horrible when viewing videos on the phone, it has ridiculous black borders when casting your screen to TV and even the camera restricts video at 16:9. So what's the point? They should have added IR-blaster and OIS on the camera instead! True useful features instead of replacing functionality with gimmicks. You're loosing it Nokia!

Launching nokia 9 in front of s9 is quiet risky because all the focus is expected to shift toward s9..still hoping for the best..:-)
