Monkeying around with the Nokia Lumia 800
No, this is not a promotion put together by Nokia, although it easily could have been one. Visitors to the Helsinki Zonn in Finland were greeted on Saturday by the sight of a male primate playing around with a pink Nokia Lumia 800. Some observers thought that the phone, which was dropped by a tourist, was part of the exhibit. The head of the tribe took control of the phone, refusing to allow zookeepers to retrieve it.

Zoo Marketing Officer Susanna Silvonen told local media in Finland that the monkey would probably be smart enough to figure out how to use the phone, but by now the battery has run out and she says it might end up being used as a chew toy. One thing we noted was that unlike humans stuck with an older model phone, the primate didn't sulk and stomp around until he got an updated, newer model.

So far, no one has reported a missing Nokia Lumia 800 to the Zoo.
