Huawei Ascend P6 gets benchmarked
At 6.2 mm, the Huawei Ascend P6 is one of the thinnest handsets around. Expected to be unveiled on June 18th, the phone has recently been found killing some time on the Gfxbenchmark site where we learned a few things about the device. One, the Huawei Ascend P6 will have a 1.5Ghz Hass K3V2 Quad Core Processor under the hood. Eating your own home cooking much?

In addition, just as Huawei decided not to use a FHD display on the Huawei Ascend Mate, the trip to the benchmark site tells us that the Huawei Ascend P6 will have a 720 x 1280 resolution on its 4.7 inch screen. We might buy the fact that the Chinese manufacturer wanted to keep a slimmer profile on the 6.1 inch Ascend Mate and didn't want to go to FHD for fear that it would require a larger battery on that model. And yes, we suppose that it is possible that it decided against an FHD screen on the Ascend P6 for the same reason. We will give Huawei the benefit of the doubt for now.

Lastly, we now know that the Huawei Ascend P6 will feature Android 4.2.2 pre-installed. Other specs include 2GB of RAM, 8 GB of native storage and a 5MP camera on back. Emotion UI1.6 will be running on top of Android.
