That's not necessarily a bad thing, mind you, as we're looking at an arguably sleek design here for the price bracket the Stylo 5 is expected to join. Namely, there's a good chance this pen-wielding bad boy will cost around $300 unlocked with a large 2:1 display in tow, relatively thin bezels, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, and alas, a single camera mounted on its back as well. Let's hope the 13MP shooter of the Stylo 4 will be upgraded in terms of low-light performance in addition to undergoing a cosmetic revision that sees the LED flash moved up and combined in the same module as the actual lens.

Unfortunately, we really don't know much about the specifications of the LG Stylo 5, but today's freshly leaked press render may have revealed the phone's launch date. You can expect the upgraded mid-ranger to be either announced or commercially released on July 15, although if history is any indication, several US carriers will pick the thing up further down the line.
Fingers crossed that the minimal design changes mean bigger than usual improvements under the hood are in the pipeline. The LG Stylo 4, remember, packs a modest Snapdragon 450 processor and only 2GB RAM in its entry-level configuration.
