HTC One (M8) and other high-end models to get Sense 7.0 later this year

HTC One (M8) and other high-end models to get Sense 7.0 later this year
HTC is adding a number of new features to Sense 7.0, including a new HTC Sense home widget that will automatically detect your location and adjust your home screen accordingly.  For example, you might have different apps that you use at home and another set you employ on the job. HTC's own UI will now recommend apps for you to use, including ones that you don't already own.

Another new feature allows you to create custom themes. You can snap a picture of something you find interesting, and Sense will create a theme out of it. You will see wallpaper options based on your picture and get color options for your apps and BlinkFeed. Your theme can be shared with others via social media. Sense will even send you location based lunch recommendations even if you're in an area that is totally foreign to you.

As you might expect, the HTC One (M8) will be receiving Sense 7 in an update "later this year." Other HTC high-end models will also receive the latest HTC skin some time in 2015.

This is great. Sense is the best Android OEM skin.

This may just be the first comment where you haven't mentioned Samsung. Do my eyes deceive me?

I have doubts the HTC One M7 and Butterfly s will be getting Sense 7 though. Llabtoofer said the code for Lollipop was a mess and not very stable and he said previously that Lollipop would be the last update the M7 would get. As for Butterfly s? It's a higher-end device than the M7 but always gets its updates later. Indeed I have doubts it will even get Lollipop. In many regions the original Butterfly didn't even get KitKat while the Droid DNA did. High end devices they are referring to would probably be the HTC Butterfly 2, E8 and Desire Eye.
