HMD Global to unveil a new Nokia smartphone on October 4
Nokia fans rejoice, as HMD Global has just confirmed it will reveal a brand new Nokia smartphone on October 4. It will probably not be another flagship smartphone, as the Finnish company may have delayed the Nokia 9 reveal for next year, but we expect at least a mid-range device with some interesting features.

As a matter of fact, chances are HMD will announce the Nokia X7, also known as Nokia 7.1 Plus, instead of the camera-centric Nokia 9. The launch event will take place in various European cities like London and Milan, although these are just two of the locations that we know of at the moment.

All in all, it appears that the upcoming Nokia smartphone is quite important for HMD that the Finnish company has decided to hold several global events. The Nokia 7.1 Plus will be the most powerful mid-range smartphone launched by HMD, although the info leaked in the last couple of weeks is a bit confusing.

While many of the initial pictures and details from various sources suggested the Nokia 7.1 Plus will sport a notched display, the latest information indicates otherwise. Well, we have two more weeks to learn what we can about HMD's next smartphone.

I’m here for it! HMD has been producing some really good smartphones (even though midrangers, for the most part). Amazing build quality, nice feature set, good camera’s, fast, monthly security updates, they’ve been great with the OS updates, and stock Android. They’ve been doing the Nokia name justice so far, and I’m eager to see the new phones they have coming out.

Mwah, they excel in software (updates), but the cameras and other stuff like design (with their copycat notches and chins on the midrangers) ain't special imo. But I can't wait to find out more about their flagship N9 though.

First: Don’t blow kisses at me. This ain’t that kind of party. Second: their camera’s are good and their build quality is fantastic! And you can’t complain about design when you’re a Sony smartphone lover. They have extremely bland designs.

Fugly. Why do you need notch when you leave the bezel below so much like that?
