Nokia X7 leaked front panel confirms HMD's love for the notch
Nokia X5 and X6 are HMD Global's first smartphones to feature displays with notch and considering how well they've been received, it looks like the Finnish company will continue to launch this type of phones.

Even though not everyone loves the notch, HMD is happy that both Nokia X5 and X6 sold very well in China, which is why they launched them globally under different names: Nokia 5.1 Plus and Nokia 6.1 Plus.

And the nice surprises for the company's fans don't stop here. The most recent leak indicates HMD's next smartphone will feature a display similar to the one included on the Nokia 5.1 Plus. A picture that allegedly shows the front panel of the unannounced Nokia X7 has just popped up online directly from China.

Apparently, the Nokia X7 will go for the same large notch featured in the Nokia 5.1 Plus rather than the Nokia 6.1 Plus' much smaller one. Besides evidence of a notch, there's really no other information that we can squeeze from this picture, but previous rumors suggest the phone is likely to include a Snapdragon 710 processor.

Since HMD confirmed there will be no new devices introduced this year at IFA 2018, we don't expect to see the Nokia X7 until Q4 2018 or even early 2019.
