Best smartphone camera photos #81

We're back with the 81st post in our special photographic-centric series where we present you with a number of awesome images taken by... well, you (and your cell phones).

So, which picture did you like most last time? The answer is Alok's photo, taken with the Nokia Lumia 928. And a pretty well-deserved first place it is, we should say!

Of course, there are many other incredible images left to be seen. Let's continue with another set of 10 pics, each of which can easily convince even the most professionally-inclined photographer that cell phones are more than a toy in the camera department.

Please note that if your own awesome image is not included here, this doesn't mean that it won't end up on the site. We simply might not have gotten to it yet! So, we urge you to continue following us, as we'll be publishing more of these truly great photos in the following days and weeks.

We'd also like to remind you that you can continue submitting your cool cell phone pics to the following email address:

In order to not miss on all the glory, you also have to mention your name/nickname, as well as the phone you used to take the shots. A nice additional piece of info would be a name or a short description for the image.

With that, we now leave you with our 81st set of favorite photos...

Suggestion: Try not mentioning the device name before the vote ends. Otherwise you'll always find Nokia winning no matter what

3rd is extremely noisy and very poor on detail. Although, kudos to photographer for a great snap.

more devoted fans. they gang up on topics concerning nokia. there could be just a few of them online but they have well-coordinated efforts to make sure nokia is well-represented.

Lol, as a Nokia WP user, I found this to be funny. I don't coordinate my efforts with anybody. I think the Nokia WP users are just that way because they have to be in constant defense mode. They're always criticized for their preferences by the people in the majority groups, a common theme of collective human behavior. I'm not a fan of the fanboy wars at all, and am willing to appreciate whatever is worth appreciating. In this case, I voted number 7 because I thought it was the coolest pic, and like the Note II's photo capabilities overall. For what it's worth, I am last time's winner with my Lumia 928, so I have valid reason to represent Nokia favorably!

Finally someone in here that know's what he is talking about. WP user in here too. And yep, 7th picture is one of the nicest from those 10, at least it got my vote. Cheers

Some of the people haters, possibly like yourself, think are Nokia fans, are actually WP fans first, like myself, who have been turned on by Nokia Lumia hardware.... .................... For me it's WP first, then Nokia.. In other words, if Nokia stopped making WP devices, and there was no purchase by MS, then I would go with the next best WP device possible..... That would suck, but I would stick with WP, and not Android, or iOS... That's just how it is..

Phonearena, can just let submitters email the untouched photos complete with the EXIF data but don't publish the EXIF data yet until voting ends.

I like Number 7 the most, followed by Number 10. The setting for Number 1 could have been great for a professional photographer, but I think it would benefit from the more dynamic range of a real camera and probably slightly different composition.

I like number 2 and number 8. Number two because I like the little details in the flower and the focus point, number 8 due to the sun coming thru and the details on the leaf

I only like pictures taken with Nokia devices.. They are the only good ones, and I wouldn't waist my time even looking at pictures taken by any other crappy device.... :-)
