Windows 8 ads leak out: Microsoft showing off new interface and teaching users
Share:
The four ads that you can see right below aim to show off the new features of Windows 8 and how it works across a range of devices - from your desktop PC to your tablet.
It shows off the awesome new ways you can unlock your screen by tapping on certain areas of a picture you’ve chosen for example, and it also demonstrates how quick and smooth the new interface is and how gestures like swiping from the left bring up previous apps. So basically, these ads are a mixture of showing off the new features and trying to instantly teach customers how to use them.
It seems that Microsoft is also readying a second batch of ads, this time solely about its Surface tablet. Microsoft has painted New York and other cities with street art for its Surface, and there are plenty of traditional ads in the subway system of a few cities, so that’s definitely telling we’ll see a big midnight launch for the tablet on October 26th.

Awesomeness....MS is going to do a great comeback in PC n tablets market...Best of luck Microsoft and the Team.
I have been using Windows 8 Enterprise edition from last 2 months. To be very honest I would rank Win8 for computers 8.5/10 (I haven't used all the latest apps and features yet).
And for tablets 10/10 (whatever I have seen so far)...!!!

I like the side by side running applications! When will that one come to Android!?
For a phone it may be not needed, but for tablets is a must.

This will be a game changer and quite the force Microsoft needs to further its transition. I think they will corner the 10.1 inch and higher market area with these convertibles and hybrids coming out. This may leave an interesting mix in that market.
