Television ad for China Mobile shows Huawei Ascend W2?
The unannounced Huawei Ascend W2 apparently is not going to stay unannounced too much longer. A television ad in China for the world's largest carrier, China Mobile, shows off a number of handsets including what looks to be the Chinese manufacturer's second Windows Phone model. The Huawei Ascend W2 is supposedly going to launch as the thinnest Windows Phone handset at 7.7mm thin. An image of the phone submerged in water would suggest that the device will be just the second smartphone running the platform to be resistant to the wet stuff.

The television ad is not just for the Huawei model. The commercial, which runs about 30 seconds, shows off some Samsung models as well, and would appear to be advertising the proprietary TD-SCDMA network belonging to China Mobile. As far as the image of the Huawei Ascend W2 is concerned, it does seem to line up with a photo leaked out by @evleaks. While that is not a 100% confirmation, it is a pretty darn good sign that the handset in the ad is the Ascend W2.
