Cingular to launch 8525, Blackberry Pearl and Samsung i607 before year end

RIM's Blackberry Pearl 8100c and Samsung's SGH-i607 have been spotted on a Cingular roadmap revealing that the two devices will be available with the major US carrier by the end of the year. Both devices have quad-band GSM/EDGE support, as the Blackjack i607 is also UMTS and HSDPA capable and has a front-facing camera for video calls. The latter should get a launch really soon as it's marked as Q3 2006 and that third quarter is almost over, while the Blackberry Pearl 8100c that was recently announced officially, is expected to be available with Cingular in the fourth one. It's also said that Cingular 8525, also known as HTC TyTN / Hermes, is scheduled to get a launch in the third quarter and customers of the number one US carrier should definitely have a reason to get really excited about that one as it's a quad-band GSM/EDGE device with tri-band UMTS and HSDPA, as well as WiFi support.
