Asus all but confirms the ZenFone Selfie, a phone that can "illuminate the beauty that's in you"
Yesterday, we told about an upcoming Asus smartphone which, according to Chinese media, could be called ZenFone Selfie. Now, Asus is confirming that "a new ZenFone family member" will be announced at Computex 2015, while also mentioning that the handset is indeed a selfie-centric one. "Illuminate the beauty that’s in You through the front camera of the ZenFone _ _ _ _ _ _", reads a Facebook post from earlier today.

Asus is actually showing the new smartphone (see below), though it's doing it in a way that only lets us see its front-facing camera, which is expected to be a 13 MP one with dual LED flash. If we're to believe previous rumors, the ZenFone Selfie should also feature a similar rear camera with laser auto focus, and a 5.5-inch display.

Just like the Asus ZenFone 2 (which was recently released in North America), the ZenFone Selfie will probably be available in many markets around the world.

While Computex 2015 officially starts on June 2, Asus will host a press event one day earlier, on June 1. The ZenFone Selfie won't be the only new Asus device showcased next week: we're also expecting to see the ZenPad 7 and ZenPad 8 tablets.
