I should probably also point out that the deal applies only to the model in Starlight and that — at least at the time of writing this post — the listing displays limited quantities. That means the offer might expire soon.
- By the way, if you're looking for an Android tablet, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ suddenly popped up at $220 off at Walmart.
Being among the best tablets on the market, you can’t go wrong with the M4-powered iPad Air. Well, maybe if you aren’t an Apple user, you might go wrong, but even then, you’ll just be missing out on the interconnected ecosystem. The tablet works just fine on its own, and since the M4 silicon is still immensely powerful, you’ll be using a tablet that can go toe to toe with Android-powered titans like the Galaxy Tab S11—at least in terms of performance.
However, I sadly can’t say the same thing regarding the screen. Since it’s not a “Pro,” our friend here comes with a Liquid Retina display that uses LCD technology. Because of that, the blacks and contrast aren’t as sharp as on OLED panels. That said, the screen still delivers pleasant visuals and even offers accurate colors.
It maxes out at a 60Hz refresh rate, though, and has 500 nits of peak brightness, which might make using it in direct sunlight outdoors a tad bit tricky. Nonetheless, given the performance you’re getting out of this thing, I believe it’s a pretty hot pick, especially if you can live without the better colors on an OLED panel, the low refresh rate, and the lower peak brightness. If you agree, act quickly and save while the deal is still up for grabs!
