After the success of the Cosmic Orange iPhone 17 Pro, everyone expects Apple to have at least one color that’s as captivating as its brightest iPhone ever. Even if it sounds like a tough challenge, it appears that the iPhone 18 Pro may pull it off with its rumored special color.
One iPhone 18 Pro color is already turning heads
Rumors about the colors of Apple’s upcoming phones have been surprisingly consistent, with the company expected to launch at least three iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max variants. However, the company is reportedly actively developing and testing four colors in total, which are the following:
Dark Cherry
Light Blue
Dark Gray
Silver
A recent survey revealed that one of them is shaping up as the clear fan favorite, similar to the bright orange model from last year. With almost 47% of you saying that the Dark Cherry color is your favorite, it would be safe to assume that Apple has another hit color in store for this year.

On the opposite end of the spectrum is the rumored Silver color, which is the favorite of only 4% of you. Fortunately, that’s the “fourth” iPhone 18 Pro shade, which is unlikely to ever be released.
The second most popular option is the Dark Gray color, which is the favorite of 20% of you. After the minor controversy Apple caused by not launching a black iPhone 17 Pro, fans of this timeless shade should be pleased to have it on the iPhone 18 Pro.
Which is your favorite iPhone 18 Pro color?
Said to be similar to the iPhone 17’s Mist Blue color, the Light Blue iPhone 18 Pro is the favorite of almost 18% of you. There’s also 11% of you who have said you don’t like any of the rumored colors.
The age of the fresh colors
After a few years of quite dull titanium colors for the Pro iPhones, Apple appears to be back with some really nice options. The Dark Cherry iPhone 18 Pro will proudly stand next to the Midnight Green iPhone 11 Pro and the Deep Purple iPhone 14 Pro.
However, getting brighter options such as the Light Blue 18 Pro feels like a homage to the continuously great colors of the vanilla iPhones. The yellow iPhone 15, the Ultramarine iPhone 16, and the Sage iPhone 17 were all fresh and good looking.
Give me more colors
As much as I like the Dark Cherry iPhone 18 Pro, I would love for Apple to just give us more choices. Vanilla iPhones have been getting five shades for years, not counting the special editions, and the Pro phones used to come in four colors. I don’t see any meaningful reason not to have more choice, and I can only hope the extra options are as bright and as crazy as possible.
