Thanks to this, Google Maps provides a more detailed view of your surroundings, including buildings, overpasses, terrain and key road features such as lanes, crosswalks, traffic lights and stop signs. The feature uses Gemini models to analyze fresh Street View and aerial imagery, helping Maps create a more accurate picture of landmarks, medians and other details along your route.

Google hasn't yet provided a fix, although an Android Auto team member allegedly said affected users would be contacted by email for more information. It is still unclear how widespread the issue is, especially since the Pixel 11 has only just started reaching early buyers and those who pre-ordered.
