Phones are getting more expensive each year, and even though we could attribute some of this to inflation and new tech development, the fact of the matter is that for many people, flagships are too expensive to buy.

At the same time, midrange phones have been gaining momentum and also adding specs to their sheets in the past couple of years, blurring the border between a true top-tier model and something that people would describe as a bang-for-the-buck.

There are, of course, many variables. If you invest a bit more money into a flagship, it might serve you longer, potentially saving you money. Flagship phones have better specs and a longer software support cycle as well. Last but not least, flagship phones also retain their value better, and you can get a better deal if you trade in a flagship.

If we flip the coin once more, midrange models often offer the same experience as many flagship phones, depending on your usage patterns. And if you swap your phones every year, or once every other year, it might be a better deal to opt for a midrange model. It's a very complex equation.

So, we've decided to get answers from the source itself, the audience. Do you think midrange phones offer better value than flagships? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts in the comment section below.
