A sprawling batch of what's reported as official Galaxy Z Fold 8 marketing materials has leaked from renowned leaker Evan Blass (EVLeaks), covering nearly everything left to reveal before Samsung's July 22 Unpacked event. The images detail the cameras, chip, battery life and a Galaxy AI feature or two built into Samsung's next foldable phone.
What the leaked marketing images show
Blass, known on X as @evleaks, has one of the most reliable track records in leaking, and he did the same for the Fold 6's marketing kit back in 2024.
The materials show the standard Fold 8 in lavender, along with its dual rear camera, chip and a couple of Galaxy AI features.

What this means for Fold 7 owners and Apple's rumored foldable
If you're on a Galaxy Z Fold 7, our review praised the design and cameras but flagged battery life and charging speed. That 26 hour video playback figure suggests Samsung addressed a complaint we (and plenty of Fold 7 owners) have had since launch.

Reserve the Galaxy Z Fold 8 or Z Flip 8 at Samsung
Samsung has just opened its reservation campaign, allowing you to reserve your next Galaxy Z Fold 8 or Z Flip 8 device. The official store is giving you a $30 reservation credit, plus a chance to win one of 10 $500 gift cards.
This also arrives as Apple is expected to finally ship its own foldable iPhone, rumored to pack a larger 7.8-inch display and a bigger 4,700 mAh battery. The two are shaping up to be closer rivals than any past Fold generation has faced.
With basically every Galaxy Z Fold 8 detail out in the open, what's swaying you most?

Here's what the images point to:
A 50 MP wide camera with 2x optical quality zoom, paired with a 50 MP ultra-wide (no telephoto on this base model)
10 MP selfie cameras on both the cover screen and the main inner display
Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip
Up to 26 hours of video playback
A lavender colorway
That zoom trick comes from Samsung's Adaptive Pixel sensor, really just a bigger sensor cropping in digitally without much detail loss.

Where this leaves us
Samsung has had a rough time keeping this launch under wraps, and if this is the last major leak before July 22, that's a good sign for how confident the company feels. A campaign doesn't leak this cleanly unless there's not much left to protect.
I'd hold off on calling this bigger than the Fold 6 to Fold 7 jump until we get a review unit in hand, but the camera bump and battery claim have my attention. Here's hoping the crease improvements hold up in person too.
