I keep repeating that the Galaxy S27 Ultra is still months away—but the truth is that time flies and sooner, rather than later, we'll have Samsung's best new flagship in our hands.
This will happen in late January or early February 2027 at the earliest, per current rumors.
Having said that, Samsung has about three to four months to convince you that the Galaxy S27 Ultra's new rumored design is actually worth it. So far, it's been failing to do so.
Almost half of you say the Galaxy S27 Ultra and its alleged design still look ugly. Some say this could be a bit harsh or offensive, but that's just your opinion.

That's the thing with opinions, you can't have one and not "offend" anyone at the end of the day.
Is it that different though?
In case if you haven't checked out the Galaxy S27 Ultra's new rumored design, here it is:

Indeed, things look very different from what we're used to seeing on Samsung's Galaxy S Ultra line from recent times. For reference, here's the Galaxy S26 Ultra and the Galaxy S25 Ultra:

As you can see, the changes have to do with the camera island on the Galaxy S27 Ultra. In the preliminary renders, it resembles the iPhone 17 Pro's camera plateau. Of course, it's not literally the same as the one on Apple's flagship, but it's close enough for hardcore Sammy fans to get furious.
Let's not quarrel about this
I get it: a phone's design is paramount for a great deal of users. Nothing wrong with that, but I'm personally a bit more practical. I pay attention to what a phone's camera setup can do, not to the way it's been assembled and arranged.
Maybe, if you insist on being angry with Samsung, it's better to redirect the dispute in the direction of sensors and sheer hardware. For example, we'll be soon welcoming the world's first triple 200 MP camera phone, the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max. What's your answer, Samsung? Apple is also guilty as charged and both companies keep awfully quiet. Yeah, I thought so.
